Our Team

David Reynolds, SWCP Director

Dave is an experienced church planter, pastor, coach and national leader. He’s planted two churches (ShoreLife Church (Chorus Church) and led them to health and multiplication, which in turn have planted many more churches that have reached thousands. Dave has also along the way started church planting centers (Northwest Church Planting, Southwest Church Planting) that continue to assess, coach, train, and support leaders.

Dave previously served as the national church planting director for The Alliance and currently leads regional church planting in the West. As national church planting director, Dave focused the efforts of over 2000 Alliance churches around the mission of every church becoming a “Greenhouse”, an environment that raises up and transplants leaders into the mission field. Working with regional coordinators across the country, Greenhouse churches customize training to meet their unique style and size. The Alliance has over 100 Greenhouse Churches with more are emerging each year.  Dave and his wife Elena are planting a third church, Faith Community, out of their home. Dave is also an accomplished musician and lives and plays gigs in the Temecula Valley of California.

Kathi Allen, SWCP Administrator

Kathi caught the vision for church planting at a church planter’s conference in the Northwest. As managing editor of a publication, she was there to capture a story but the church planting story captured her. Since then, she’s been using her background in research, writing and event planning to serve and encourage church planters. Kathi also served in women’s ministries for nearly 20 years. She enjoys serving church planters throughout the assessment, coaching, training and support pathway. Her vision for the future includes creating meaningful connection points for women involved in church planting. Kathi and her husband Dan helped plant Chorus Church, Murrieta with Dave and continue to serve together in their current church plant. She’s been married to Dan for more than half her life (the better half) and has four great kids. She enjoys cave tubing, snuba (you read it right) live theater, solving mysteries and deep sea fishing.
